GABRIEL NEAMTU

PHOTOGRAPHER · VIDEOGRAPHER · VISUAL STORYTELLER
I’m a Montreal-based creative with a focus on thoughtful, design-led storytelling. My work centers on capturing natural moments that feel intentional, honest, and aligned with the people or spaces they represent.

How did I start photography journey?

Like many photographers, I started with street photography before I even knew it was called that. It taught me to slow down, observe, and work with what’s already there. That way of seeing continues to shape how I approach client work today.

Working with me

Every project begins with understanding context and use. I work closely with clients to clarify the scope and goals, creating visuals that are clear, intentional, and help their product or space stand out naturally. Whether you prefer a collaborative approach or want guidance throughout, I adapt the process to what works best for you.
What types of projects do you work on?

I work across a range of projects, including restaurants, events, real estate, brands, lifestyle content, and weddings. While each project is different, my focus stays the same: thoughtful visuals that feel natural, intentional, and well-suited to how they’ll be used.

How does the process work?

We start with a conversation to understand your needs, goals, and scope. From there, I’ll suggest a visual direction, sometimes supported by a moodboard, so we’re aligned before moving into planning, shooting, and delivery.

Do you help with creative direction or planning?

Absolutely. I work with clients to shape the visual direction and plan the project, whether that means refining ideas together or guiding the process from start to finish.

How involved can I be in the creative process?

As much or as little as you prefer. I’m happy to collaborate closely or take the lead, whatever feels right for you and the project.

Do you offer both photo and video?

Yes. I work with both photo and video. For larger projects, I collaborate with a small network of trusted creatives when additional support is needed.
